Our history

We are an independent voluntary organisation, 

funded by donations and offering a free, confidential 

support service to adults experiencing bereavement or loss.

We are an organisational member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy and operate under their Ethical Framework (2018).

A bereavement or loss can be one of the most traumatic and stressful periods in a person’s life. There are times when it

becomes difficult or impossible to cope with

this alone, or it may not be appropriate to

involve friends or family with your problems.

It is at times like this when you may feel it

would be useful to talk to someone who is not

personally involved with your bereavement

or loss.
